Introducing a new event series at Wayward Lane Brewing, where we team up with local producers to pair our beer with their creations. We had to kick things off with our favorite (and only) pairing from last year—Sleepy Forest Bakeshop in Fort Plain.

If you joined us last time, don’t worry—we’re dialing back the ABV a bit this year, so you won’t need to call Uncle Joe to rescue you from a doughnut-induced barrel-aged stupor. The goal this time is balance.

Just like before, each beer will be thoughtfully paired with a mini doughnut from Sleepy Forest Bakeshop—six doughnuts, six 4oz beers, one delicious experience. Flights are only available as a package for $40, with 60 flights up for grabs. Once they’re gone, they’re gone. Full menu below.

1. Beer: Merlin In Berlin – 4.0% ABV
   Berliner-Style Weisse w/ Blueberry, Strawberry & Raspberry
   Doughnut: Brambleberry (all the berries) with meringue crisp and raspberry sprinkles

2. Beer: Monarca Dark – 4.8% ABV
   Mexican-Style Dark Lager
   Doughnut: Caraway-spiced French cruller with molasses glaze, rum cake crumb, and lime salt

3. Beer: Shadowtricks – 5.5% ABV
   Smoked Helles-Style Lager
   Doughnut: Delicate rose glaze filled with honey cream

4. Beer: Sugar Weather (Collab w/ West Kill Brewing) – 6.0% ABV
   Maple Blonde Ale
   Doughnut: Maple glaze with doughnut French toast sticks and maple sugar

5. Beer: 10-4 – 10.4% ABV
   Hazy Triple IPA
   Doughnut: Peach and mango glaze with homemade sour peach ring

6. Beer: Suzanne’s Wings – 15.33% ABV
   Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout & Barleywine Blend Conditioned on Coconut + Cinnamon
   Doughnut: Milk chocolate ganache with toasted sweet coconut and cinnamon

Hosted by Good Word Brewing and the City of Duluth, Little Beer is a celebration of Lager and Small Beer that has grown over the years—and once again, it’s been nominated as one of the best beer festivals in the country by USA Today.

Come enjoy some Wayward Lane alongside some of the best Lager and Small Beer producers from across the country.

DJ BlaqMozart, Cashé, and Dusty Roads will be keeping the energy high with live music throughout the afternoon, setting the perfect party vibe. Plus, an artist market will feature local artisans showcasing their unique crafts and goods.

At the end of the event, turn in your Little Beer wristband at Good Word to redeem a draft pour. And with Duluth’s many restaurants, shops, and bars, there’s plenty to explore and even more great beer to keep the party going.

Cousins Maine Lobster is back! These guys are national known for serving premium, wild-caught, sustainably harvested lobster from Maine, accompanied by their signature Downeast Maine hospitality.

Help us give a warm welcome to Gordon St. as they make their Wayward Lane debut! This Schenectady-based rock band has been shakin’ butts across the Capital Region since 2006.

Originally a trio featuring lead vocalist/bassist Dan Noonan, guitarist Ritch Harrigan, and drummer Jason Nowak, they recently leveled up with the addition of keyboard phenomenon Chris Andreski, bringing even more depth to their free-flowing, hard-hitting jams.

With a mix of award-nominated originals and a diverse selection of covers, Gordon St. has a little something for everyone—gorgeous three-part harmonies for ya mom, and instrumental dance jams... also for ya mom. 😘

Murky Dismal makes their Wayward Lane Brewing debut with an improvisational score to the 1922 Silent Classic, Nosferatu! Special guest, David Jenkins (Red Wagon, Feral Children) opens up with an acoustic set at 4pm. Movie begins at 5:30pm. We’ll be pouring at Prison City’s Fire & Ice Festival with ice sculptures, drink luges, courtyard games, live music, food trucks and more!

Featuring thousands of pounds of ice hand-carved by The Ice Farm into magnificent ice sculptures, drink luges, courtyard games, and (literally) the coolest bar in town.

This event is the finale of the City of Auburn’s BRAVE BREWS WEEKEND, celebrating women in the craft beverage industry, with proceeds going to benefit local & global women’s charities.

Adding to the festivities of the evening are roaring fire pits, live music, food trucks, entertainment, and a wine, beer, & spirits tasting. The evening ends with us lighting up the sky with a fireworks display.

Flying Rob & Friends is a folk-rock band with a soulful blend of originals. Your ears will come alive with soaring melodies and electrifying riffs. Come hear a groove-based mix of folk, rock, funk, and more!

The Red Wagon can best be described as Rootsy Rock Fusion, melding together various styles of music into an amalgamation of sound. Intertwining Saxophone and Electric Guitar float over a solid, yet fluid, rhythm section, while harmony-laden vocals ring out above the fray. The Red Wagon’s current lineup consists of Dan McBride (Guitar), Chris Scanlan (Sax and Vocals), John Florussen (Drums and Vocals) and Dave Jenkins (Bass and Vocals). Their latest album, Back To The Valley, was released on July 4, 2020 - and is available for streaming or purchase on all major digital media outlets including Spotify, Amazon Music, iTunes and Youtube.

The 10th Annual New York State Craft Brewers Festival takes place at the Desmond Hotel (Crowne Plaza) in Albany, NY. This renowned event brings together 50+ breweries from every region of the state, offering beer enthusiasts—both seasoned and new—a rare opportunity to enjoy unique, award-winning beers while meeting the talented brewery owners and representatives behind the craft. No volunteers here—this is the real deal!

Great beer deserves great food! Albany's favorite food vendors will be on-site with savory eats available for purchase to pair with your favorite brews.

We’re especially excited to announce that Wayward Lane Brewing will be one of the 5 breweries featured in an exclusive beer and cheese pairing at 3 PM! This one-of-a-kind experience showcases 5 unique beers, each from a different region of New York, with tasting notes presented by the brewers themselves. These beers are specially selected and will not be available elsewhere at the festival. The pairing also includes 5 artisanal cheeses curated by The Cheese Traveler, an NPR-featured cheesemonger.

F.A.R. Trio is back!! Eamon, Drew and Ethan as a musical team have performed around NYC and Buffalo for past 5 years. They have been concentrating on writing music together, augmenting each others individual compositions and coming up with unique arrangements of songs and pieces by their favorite song writers and composers and bringing that music on tours across NYS and the East coast. The 11th annual New York State Craft Brewers Festival returns to the historic Landmark Theatre in downtown Syracuse. The renowned event brings together 45+ breweries from every region of the state offering enthusiasts, both novice and seasoned, a rare opportunity to relish in unique and award-winning beer. Feral Children is a band performing original and cover songs encompassing a variety of genres, including Americana, Rock, Folk, Rhythm & Blues and Country. Members include Chris Blackwell, Dave Jenkins, John Pjontek, Rae Rotindo and Brad Towle.

Kyle recently completed an in-depth, 4-hour training session with Ondřej and Jan from Lukr, covering glassware cleanliness, tap maintenance, and the art of the perfect Czech pour using side-pull faucets, ultimately earning his Certified Tapster certificate. Today, he's passing on this expertise to our staff so they can bring you an even better experience with every pour. Expect a few exciting changes in how your beers are served! See you on Friday!
